Established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed the Tata Institute of Social Sciences & since 1964 is Deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGC), 1956.

B. Voc. in Medical Laboratory Technology
Course Introduction:
The B. Voc. program in Medical Laboratory Technology produces well-rounded graduates with comprehensive knowledge and skills in various technologies used in medical laboratories. The course aims to develop expertise in performing a wide range of medical laboratory tests, including routine and special tests such as phlebotomy, clinical biochemistry, haematology, serology, and cytogenetics.
Additionally, students also acquire skills in lab management, ethics, biomedical waste disposal, personality development, effective communication, and cultivating a healthcare worker attitude..
Eligibility for Admission:
10+2 or equivalent, in the science stream.

B. Voc. in Medical Imaging Technology
Course Introduction:
The undergraduate B. Voc. program in Medical Imaging Technology trains aspiring Medical Radiographers Technologists in creating visual representations of the human body’s anatomy and physiology for clinical analysis and diagnosis of medical interventions.
